Cat & Jon | Festival Wedding | Boho Bride | Weobley Castle

Caitriona & Jon planned a festival wedding in the grounds of Weobley Castle Llanrhidian. I’ve always wanted to photograph a tipi wedding and in this location with sweeping views over the estuary, it’s a magnificent spot. Caitriona wore a beautiful flowing Sassi Holford dress with flowers in her hair completing the boho bride style, she really did look like a festival bride,  luckily without the wellies!

The marriage ceremony was held at the impressive Guildhall in Swansea, with it’s amazing architecture it made a wonderful backdrop for some great portraits. We then headed on to Weobley Castle stopping off for some quick portraits on the marsh land near their home.  Arriving at the castle the festival wedding flags and bunting were blowing wild, the weather was not playing game, inside the tipi home spun details were plentiful and a wonderful touch – Table plans and name cards were up cycled from the guest RSVP’s, wild and loose flowers everywhere.

With cocktails being sipped and canapés you could eat forever the wedding breakfast was served. The most tender Beef fillet. The day progressed and flowed in to some very moving speeches, with the clouds clearing, wild horses appearing and a great live band it felt like a true festival wedding, thankfully minus the mud!

Exceptional photos of what must be one of the most well-thought out & stylish weddings I've ever seen - and all for a lush couple, so that's cool too! :)
