ASHLEY & JODIE | OXWICH BAY HOTEL
Take me to a place where we can be alone, a place where I can hold you tight forever……
…this is the last night you’ll spend alone, I’ll wrap you in my arms and I won’t let go. I’m everything you need me to be.
This week has been a pretty special week in my life and in my career as a wedding photographer, the realisation of winning Welsh National Wedding Awards Best Photographer of 2015 is slowly sinking in and as the hangover fades away I’m left thinking WOW! My images have reached out and connected with so many people, people I know, people I have photographed, people I am going to photograph and people who are drawn into my images for their own reasons. The wonder of social media has meant more and more people get to see what I see every weekend, beautiful human connection, goodness and true love in it’s purest form.
I met Ashley & Jodie (AJ as they like to be known) a few years ago, I was photographing the wedding of Katy – one of Jodie’s best friends. As a couple I liked AJ straight away and I could see how deeply in love they were, I noticed they couldn’t be separated throughout the day. They don’t know this but at that time I thought to myself I really would like to photograph them when they get married. Skip forward a few years and here I am photographing them on they’re wedding day. For those that read my words you will know I talk about connection between the bride and groom and myself and how I like to make a strong connection with my clients. I’ve been blessed this year to of been able to connect with so many wonderful couples. AJ are one of these couples.
