November 5th ~ The morning began in the main house in the stunning bridal suite, bathed in beautiful natural light—perfect for capturing those soft, intimate moments of the bridal preparations. Megan, glowing with excitement, stepped into her dress with the help of her mum before delicately spraying her signature YSL perfume, a final touch before revealing her elegant look to her bridesmaid and her father before heading to say “I do.” Meanwhile, Josh and his groomsmen gathered in the cigar lounge, adjusting final details of their attire and sharing moments of camaraderie before the ceremony.
Their ceremony was a heartfelt exchange of love and commitment, with personal vows that left no dry eyes in the room. The emotion carried into the family group photos—each frame filled with joy and connection—before Megan & Josh stole a quiet moment for their couple portraits. The wooded grounds of Sant Ffraed House provided the perfect backdrop for editorial-style wedding photography that felt timeless and romantic.
During the drinks reception, it was Espresso Martini time. The couple had specifically wanted me to capture them with their martinis, a moment that will be displayed in their home bar—a reflection of their shared love for the classic cocktail and the joyous celebration of their union.
As the sun set, the wedding breakfast under candlelight set the tone for an intimate and elegant evening. The speeches were filled with laughter and heartfelt emotion, none more moving than the words from the father of the bride. The warm glow of the room, flickering candlelight, and teary-eyed guests made for truly cinematic moments.
As the night unfolded, Megan took a moment to freshen up—just in time for me to capture some night time editorial-style wedding photos portraits with her bridesmaids by her side and Josh’s tux draped over her shoulders. The atmosphere shifted as fireworks lit up the sky, marking the start of the evening celebrations. The energy was electric, from the fun-loving cake cutting to the emotional first dance, surrounded by loved ones.
To close the night, I created a special moment with just Megan & Josh—an intimate, editorial style cake-eating session with a glass of fizz, a stolen kiss, and, of course, a big slice of wedding cake. The perfect end to the perfect Wedding day.
