The ceremony started with a sage burning ritual, purifying their space, healing, protecting and grounding them in the moment. Their celebrant ceremony included a hand handbinding ritual, where the celebrant expertly layered prepared a macrame knot for them to tie over their hands, it symbolising their union and commitment to each other and creating a keepsake to cherish forever.
