GOWER ELOPEMENT WEDDING, SOUTH WALES

Last night was special for this Gower elopement style wedding

Katie and David were meant to be getting married last Saturday. Their wedding like so many others has been postponed because of Covid 19. They decided to still mark and celebrate their wedding day by having a blessing at their local village church in York, followed with a small tea party for close family. They couldn’t let the moment pass by knowing it was meant to be their wedding day. They wanted to remember and celebrate their original wedding date.

They then headed to Wales to escape for a few day’s for their Gower Elopement wedding photo shoot and this is where the adventure happened. Katie wearing a stunning Ian Stewart Flower Bomb dress which just flowed in the breeze as she stood on the top of Three Cliffs peaks overlooking the bay, and later as the golden light touched across their faces we watched the sunset sink down past the horizon line at Rhossili. These were beautiful moments that they will always remember.

A perfect way to celebrate and mark your first wedding day and making the absolute most of the situation many couples are currently in.

The Gower peninsula in South Wales has an epic coastline  and I photograph many couples here on their wedding day and pre wedding photo shoots.  It’s epic for Wedding photography and with venues such as Fairyhill and Oldwalls just a stones throw from these wonderful locations they are perfectly placed for something truly special to be captured as part of your wedding photography couple portraits session, or even a post wedding photoshoot
