He reached his Everest and they are on top of the world…..This is one emotional wedding day filled with happy tears that I was privileged to photograph and film.

What are weddings about? Flowers, favours, wedding cake – These are all beautiful important layers that make up part of the day and are wonderful personal touches, the effort couples go to in making their wedding a perfect one will never go unrecognised or taken for granted but what is the most important thing on your wedding day?

Weddings are about people and words. The people who are your family and friends and the words that you will exchange and hear in heartfelt speeches. These will hold a meaning to you for your entire life. These are what make a wedding truly special. This emotional connection is  what I love to capture in my wedding photography and wedding films. This day had it all.

When I heard that the Grooms family own and run the wedding venue Coed Y Mwstwr & Bear Hotel in South Wales, I knew this day was going to be a very special one! The church wedding ceremony was held in Cowbridge with some pre ceremony drinks at the Bear hotel and then onto the reception at Coed Y Mwstwr. Coed is a wonderful venue with beautiful grounds. It was one of the hottest day of the year so the Pimms, Prosecco, Oysters, Canapés, Gin popsicles & Tequila shots refreshed everyone and got the party vibe in full swing, whilst I mention swing the informal band The London Essentials serenaded and wooed the guest through the afternoon garden party and then with a few more flash appearances in-between the wedding breakfast courses all leading up to an epic finale where the entire wedding guests were out of their chairs, standing on tables arms swinging and singing on the top of their voices. The atmosphere was incredible from this point on the party went wild. Family and friends coming together.
